Circa 1890s. A Christian Endeavor group from Kasaan visiting Howkan, Alaska. The Smithsonian credits Mrs. Helen Sanderson of Hydaburg, Alaska for loaning the original mounted photograph that was copied for their use. Mrs. Sanderson's note on the back of the photograph reads: "5th from left is Henry Edenshaw from Masset. Remainder of the people are from Kasaan and Howkan."
