Cannery Craft - 1920s

Cannery craft sometime during the 1920s or 1930s. The “Pike” belonging to Felix and Walter Young can be seen in the middle foreground. According to Louis A. Thompson, Pauline and Bill Blackstad’s house, one of the oldest houses in the village, can be seen in the foreground as the small structure on the left. The larger structure to the right is the Nelson General Store. Photo courtesy of Kavilco Archives #CanneryCraft_1920s.jpg.
